Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Tidbit mobile application (“App”) operated by SimpleStud (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using Tidbit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Tidbit is a mobile learning application that delivers educational content through swipeable, visual cards covering topics such as history, science, geography, and more. The App is available on iOS devices and requires an Apple ID to sign in.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tidbit. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms.

3. Account

3.1 Sign In with Apple

Tidbit uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.

3.2 Account Data

When you sign in, we may receive your Apple-provided name, email address, and a unique user identifier.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data from within the app via Profile > Delete Account. Deletion is processed immediately.

4. Content

4.1 Educational Content

All learning content is provided for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Content should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

4.2 Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in Tidbit are owned by SimpleStud or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

5. Advertising

Tidbit displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any advertisements.

6. In-App Purchases

Tidbit may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions, processed entirely through the Apple App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with the App's operation or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIMPLESTUD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
